Registration for the Women Writing Across Cultures conference is now live.
The conference, which will be held from 26 to 28 September at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford, seeks to encourage dialogue among researchers and practitioners dealing with women’s writing in a variety of fields, including transnational writing; writing across academic disciplines; encounters between the critical and the creative, the academic and the popular; women’s writing of the past impacting on the present; and imagining futures for women’s writing.
Featured speakers will include Patience Agbabi, poet, performer and Fellow in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes University; Prof. Regenia Gagnier, University of Exeter; Dr. Fei-Wen Liu, Institute of Ethnology Academica Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan; and creative writers Kate Clanchy and Kirsty Gunn.
